Prérequis

  • Assistenten van de deelnemende dierenartsen (Dag 5, inschrijving opleiding ID1112)

Objectifs d'enseignement

(Opgelet: de opleiding vindt plaats in het Engels.)

De “Safety Culture”: meer veiligheid, minder stress, ten voordele van zowel de patiënt als de dierenarts.

Anesthesie is veel meer dan een technische handeling: het is een essentieel onderdeel van dierenwelzijn en kwaliteitsvolle zorg. Toch blijft het voor veel dierenartsen een bron van onzekerheid. Deze opleiding biedt u een nieuwe en geruststellende benadering, gebaseerd op de Safety Culture — een beproefde methode uit de luchtvaart en de humane geneeskunde, aangepast aan de diergeneeskundige praktijk.

U leert hoe u:

  • Betrouwbare anesthesiestrategieën kunt opbouwen, aangepast aan elke patiënt en elke klinische situatie.
  • Technische, farmacologische en menselijke hulpmiddelen kunt integreren om de anesthesieprocedure te beveiligen.
  • Een cultuur van preventie en waakzaamheid kunt ontwikkelen, zonder schuldgevoel: fouten zijn menselijk, anticiperen is professioneel.
  • Meer rust, doeltreffendheid en comfort kunt realiseren in uw dagelijkse praktijk.

Via een concrete, klinische en empathische aanpak ontdekt u hoe u van anesthesie een doordachte, gecontroleerde en aanzienlijk minder stresserende handeling kunt maken.

Opleidingsverloop

  • Vier opleidingsdagen, met aanvullend digitaal leermateriaal en gepersonaliseerde opvolging (digital learning) tussen de sessies.
  • Optioneel: een vijfde dag (inschrijving ID1112) voor de dierenartsassistenten van praktijken waarvan de dierenarts(en) de volledige opleiding hebben gevolgd.
  • Opgelet: de vierde dag is intensief en duurt van 08u30 tot 18u15.

  • Inzicht verwerven in de anesthesieprocedure.
  • Een anesthesiestrategie kunnen structureren.
  • De principes van de Safety Culture kunnen implementeren.
