Susanne Ritz is a specialist for internal
medicine at the Anicura animal clinic Haar in Munich. She studied veterinary
medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU) where she graduated 2004
and subsequently obtained her doctoral degree in 2007. After her internship at
LMU 2007 and an intermezzo as counselling specialist at Idexx in Ludwigsburg
2008/2009, she moved to the Netherlands for a small animal internal medicine
residency at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Utrecht and stayed there from 2009 to2014. 2014/2015
she worked in Düsseldorf (Germany) at the animal clinic Dr. Krauss, where she
treated first- and second line patients. Finally, she moved back to Munich and joined
the Anicura animal clinic Haar in 2015. In 2019 she became Diplomate (ECVIM)
for Internal Medicine and 2020 a German specialist for small animal internal
medicine. Besides medicine, she likes to spend her time with outdoor activities
in the alps.
